Installation of new facilities
GRAN CANARIA ARENA
Multipurpose venue hosting cultural, musical and sporting events. Renowned at local and national level for its infrastructure and modern facilities, it has a capacity for 10,000 people. The opening of the venue was chosen to host the World Basketball Championships (FIBA) held in Spain. It is home to the Gran Canaria Basketball Team, the ACB Endesa League and the Eurocup. Various new first class facilities were provided (cafeterias, locker rooms, parking, gym, activity rooms, playroom, etc.)
Works carried out:
Plumbing installation (hot and cold water).
Installation of sanitation facility (sewage and stormwater).
Installation of a network of Fire Hose Cabinets (FHC)
Installation of automatic extinguishing system in telecommunications areas.
Installation of hydrotherapy pools.
Completion time: 23 months; Started September 2011.
